Mocking Jay Pt 1

Mocking Jay Part One is the third movie in the Hunger Games series. This movie showed very limited action throughout, and it mainly served its purpose; as a buildup for the last movie. That was about all it was good for in my opinion, though very notable acting by multiple actors throughout the movie kept it very dramatic and believable. It kept you waiting for more almost the whole movie and leaves you hanging at the end, as per most part ones in movies do. I guess we have Harry Potter to thank for that. Anyways this movie was good but not necessarily worth going to see in the big screen, may be one to wait to rent.

Big Hero 6

KFrom the makers of Frozen and Wreck it Ralph bring you a animated movie based off of a marvel graphic novel. This movie brought with it a huge expectation and it certainly delivered with it's clever characters and great jokes that will soon be you and your best friends new reference bank. Big Hero 6 is about a 14 year old boy who graduated high school at 13 and now finds enjoyment in some illegal activity until his older brother shows him college life. Hiro the main character gets obsessed with getting into this college but gets hit hard when a fire causes the death of his brother. After the fire Hiro accidentally activates his brother's robot B-Max and finds trouble. A man with stolen tech starts to emerge but are they the heroes that can stop him find out in this amazing movie. 3.7out of  4 stars (highly rewatchable)

Mocking Jay part 1

The first part of the epic conclusion to the Hunger games series. Mocking Jay does a great job of following the books but also added some more depth by showing another character perspective. This being Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character Plutarch Heavensbee, the Gamemaker from Catching Fire. Now I've read and enjoyed the books but I think I favor the film more than the book (I'm going to be burned at the stake for saying that) now without spoiling anything I will tell you the sole reason why I believe that the film trumps the book. In the movie they remove some of the duller moments that almost made me stop reading the book. This movie is great for any fan of the series although it doesn't have to much action you will still be on the edge of your seat. 3.2 out of 4stars.

Big Hero 6

Big Hero 6 is about a genius boy who creates gadgets and fights evil after the death of his brother. It's storyline is nothing too special, easy to follow, but it's integration of humor into the action helps a lot without such humor it would have been a very flat movie. They used the anime to their advantage as well I enjoyed the contrast in colors between the characters, bringing out their personalities.  It was a very fun movie, I recommend it to families or anyone looking to have a good time.
Overall rating: 2/4 stars

This movie also includes a short before the movie about a dog and it's life which is very cute.

The Internship

After a long absence we are back with more reviews. The Internship involves 5 interns at google who are trying to find jobs and one google member who already works there. They "team up" to complete challenges to win jobs. The two main characters have little experience with computers and find themselves having trouble. It definitely earns its PG-13 rating in one scene alone. This is a predictable story and it does promote google a good amount. Besides that it has a lot of humor, a lot of it adult humor but can still be funny to younger people. Overall it was a very funny movie. Spend or Save? I would spend if you like comedy movies, otherwise save it for dvd.
